Welcome to C.I.F (Critical Issues Forum, where students learn about critical issues around the world. If you're asking yourself on what sort of issues than I just grabbed your attention. The issues that we learn in C.I.F is about Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) and how it effects our world today. Although we are gaining knowledge about nuclear weapons, this year we are focusing on the Middle East. As you explore the C.I.F website, you will see that we do work on the matter.

The work that must be done goes by Benchmarks. The Benchmark ranges between I-III at least. What's inside a Benchmark is where we write college level essays and this is where objectives come into play. Objectives is where along with the research paper, we must contain a project showing what we learn from the paper.

If you are wondering on how we promote what we learned, we go to Monterey where we present infront of professionals such as Professors that studied this particular subject for many years. Its a great experince because not only our we enhancing are presentation and speech skills, we also meet other students from Russia, Hawaii, and new this year, China.

Below you will see an example of the work of 2010 where we created a poster that Leo's Poster asked if we were against nuclear weapons or for nuclear weapons. How this student create his poster by using a program called Adobe Photoshop CS4 where he can manupulate the pictures. Here he place two image together and manupulate it by placing drop shadowing and blending in the picture. This student's view about obtaining nuclear weapon is that he is against it, however, he also believes that the countries will have peace.
